The highlight of my year so far has to have been an epic weekend at Shrewsbury festival in August. Not only was the festival top notch – brilliant acts (my fav’s being the Dhol Foundation, Spiers & Boden and the Melrose Ceilidh Band ….. ), but it was an honor to be there with such an brilliant group of musicians and dancers, helping to put Cornish Nos Lowen on the map!
Meur ras – Massive thanks to the Bagas Fellyon crew for our first Shrewsbury such an amazing one – We couldn’t have wished for a better ‘band of fools’ to share it with! Special thanks to our awesome team of dancers, to everyone at Shrewsbury Folk Festival and to everyone that and took part in impromptu Cornish sessions! We look forward to seeing you again!!!
